In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

IVF is the most well-known of fertility treatments. In this procedure your eggs are fertilised with your partner or donor sperm outside the womb, in a controlled medical environment for the purpose of re-implantation into your uterus. It involves series of highly coordinated steps beginning with controlled ovarian stimulation using external hormones, egg collection, fertilisation and transfer.

donor sperm

Donor sperm are recommended when sperm is absent or non-motile from the semen, often due to genetic causes, chemotherapy, radiation therapy or vasectomy.? This involves fertilising your egg with the donor sperm using one of the assisted reproductive techniques (IUI/IVF/ ICSI).? The fertilised egg (embryo) is then transferred into your uterus to carry out pregnancy.
